Friday New Releases – July 7, 2023

Published on by 2loud2oldmusic18 Comments

Welcome to July! It’s been waiting for you! Our first big release of the month doesn’t get much bigger than this. The new Taylor Version for the album ‘Speak Now’ is out this week so does it really matter what else is out this week as it will blow the doors off the competition! Of course it matter what else there is or why do these posts. I’m sure my kids will get Taylor, but I’m more interested in Nita Strauss’ new album as well as the latests from Degreed. Outside of that, we will see what kind of time I have. Let me know what you want to here this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend.

June has seen some big releases a few that I am really enjoying and might end up in my Top 10 list of records for the year. This week has a ton of releases, although nothing I’m running out and buying just yet (if at all). There are a few I will stream such as the new Ayron Jones record as his last was pretty dang great. If this one is, I might be buying this one. There is also a Candlebox live album and a new Jason Mraz. If you are in to them, there is a new Portugal, The Man album and so much more. Check them out and let me know what you want to hear. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend!

You made it through another week and you should celebrate by getting yourself some new music. Luckily for you, I have a list of a lot of new releases that come out today and there are some goodies in here. There a few I’ll listen to this week as I will see if I still don’t like Queens of the Stone Age by listening to their new one. I think I’ll enjoy Joel Hoekstra’s 13 new album even if Jeff Scott Soto isn’t doing main vocals…and lastly, probably blow through the Finger Eleven’s Greatest Hits album and of course The Alarm’s new one as well. Let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed so everyone can know. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

Friday New Releases – June 9, 2023

Published on by 2loud2oldmusic25 Comments

Happy Friday! I am so excited as this is the one week I’ve really been waiting for most of the year (or at least since the albums were announced). There are two albums that for me are the ones I’ve look forward to most of all. Paul Laine’s new album his Danger Danger bandmates and that is The Defiants’ new album ‘Drive’. The bands third studio album and have high hopes. The other album I’m excited by is the new Extreme album, simply titled Six. It has been way too long since their last one. Can’t wait to hear Nuno shred!! There are also a bunch of reissues this week and on some big albums from Niall Horan, Janelle Monae, Jason Isbell and so many more…and yes Frontiers Records has a bunch as is very common. Now, let me know what you want to hear or what we may have missed. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a great and wonderful weekend.

Get your wallets ready as this week is heating up as Summer is in full force and the releases are coming hard and heavy. This week there are quite a few I want to hear (not necessarily buy, stream yes). First up, Foo Fighter’s first album without Taylor Hawkins and I am looking forward to see what this tragedy does for the band. Then we have some great bands with Rival Sons, Buckcherry, Hollywood Vampires Live and even a deluxe box set of Black Sabbath’s Live Evil. Let me know what you are eager to hear this week or what we may have missed. As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend.

May is about over and Summer is upon us, but before we get to the Summer months, let’s have one more Friday New Release post. And there isn’t a ton, but there is a lot of metal if you like metal from Metal Church to Iced Earth and everything in between. The only one I’m interested in is Matchbox Twenty as I did like their last album so hoping for some more good stuff. Maybe the Simply Red album will get a stream as well. Other than that, I am good this week. Let me know what you want to hear this week. And let us know what we missed as well. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Welcome to Friday New Releases. We have just shy of 50 releases for you this week and I am sure you will find something you like. If you not you can have your money back…wait…you didn’t pay me any money…so oh well. One of my favorite bands has a new one this week. Def Leppard has a symphony release of their old hits so I’m not overly excited, but I’ll still buy it and listen to it. We also have a new Ghost E.P. of cover songs and it’s Ghost, so give me more!! There is Michael Sweet and Georgy Lynch with another Sweet & Lynch release and you have Dave Matthews Band, Neal Schon, Brandy Clark, The Used and so much more. Check them out and tell me what you want to hear. And if there is something we missed, tell us in the comments so everyone knows. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Friday New Releases – May 12, 2023

As the weather keeps heating up, so do the releases, but this week isn’t as hot as others as we only have around 30 for you. For me, it is a break week as there is nothing here I have to have which means I can catch up on all my recent purchases. But hopefully there is something for you as there are some popular picks this week with Lauren Daigle who has a great voice and the Jonas Brothers have a new. Belinda Carlisle has an E.P. that I believe was just released on vinyl at Record Store Day. Let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Happy Friday and Happy Day After Star Wars Day. The Force is strong this week with new releases…yeah, that was pretty bad. But we do have a lot of new releases for you today and hopefully there is something for everyone. The only one I’m waiting on this week is Winger’s new one. Can’t wait for that to arrive today as I’m ready to crank that one. I am sure I’ll have to listen to Ed Sheeran’s new one as my kids tend to play him. Let me know what you want to hear this week and what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
